Tadoussac whale watching
Tadoussac is more like a small village situated in Quebec and it is located at a place where Saint Lawrence is meeting the Saguenay River. The place is a beautiful and quite little village which is the most noticeable for watching whales. Yes that is the biggest attraction of the place and people from all over the country come to watch the whales. The whales in this village side love chilling in the waters which surrounds Tadoussac. The place is like a regular hangout spot for the water animals and that is where humans go and watch them. At times, the animals come really close and they socialize with each other in the stretch of the water.
Daniel-Johnson Dam
The dam is located on the Manicouagan River and it the one which creates an annular Manicougan Reservoir for the reason to make hydroelectricity and it is sight to look at. The dam consists of 14 buttresses along with 13 arches which is more than 4,300ft long and it is standing over a 700ft tall giving it the place of the largest dam of this kind in the world.
Château Frontenac
A giant castle which has been converted into a hotel for people to see and have a feeling of what it feels like to live in castle. It is something which looks like it has been taken out of a storybook or a fairytale, although people who aren’t from Quebec city find it a little harder to recognize. The building was originally built in 1893 and since then it has been preserved in its natural state with minor renovations and upgrades leaving the castle to be breathtakingly mesmerizing.
Wakefield Bridge
The Wakefield Bridge is one of the very few remaining covered bridges to exist which is spanning over the Gatineau River. It is made from wood entirely which adds to its beauty and majesty. If you are going to see this bridge then try to go there in winters as it has mesmerizing effect after the snowfall.
Mingan Archipelago
Most of the people don’t know this but ‘archipelago’ is basically a chain, collection or cluster of islands. It is one of those in particular and located along the North shore of the Saint Lawrence River. The island consists of 40 spits of land all around, located within the Mingan Archipelago National Park Reserve. This one makes up to have a wonderful road trip.
Rougemont apple orchards
You would be really missing out if you have heard about the Rougement which is a small municipality located in the Monteregie region of the Quebec city. This is a very small town and the most fame that it has gotten is because of apples. Yes you heard it right! People know this place because of this fruit and it has the popular Rougemont apples. The apples are grown here and the sight to all the orchids is just as pleasing to the senses as the apples of this place.
Place Royale
The Place Royale is located in the heart of the Quebec city and it is the birthplace of French America. This is a beautiful cathedral which is known as the Lady of Quebec city in English and it is also the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Quebec. The history of the cathedral dates back to the 16th century and has been there intact since then. Plains of Abraham
